Here goes another addition to the vegan bacon family. These are one of my favorite healthy, oil-free, Sunday brunch go-tos. I usually make a big batch of my savory, smoky, and slightly sweet Baked Tempeh Bacon on meal-prep night because they make the BEST lunch sandwiches. Considering brunchin’ this weekend? Baked tempeh allows you the freedom to have one less thing to worry about on the stove. Multitasking ✔
Did I mention these were oil free? With the help of a silicone pad or parchment paper, these are truly one of the best things to happen to my lunch prep.
We all know that vegans get enough protein. Right?? Well just incase you had any doubt, a 1 cup serving of tempeh = 31 grams of protein. ?
