The Bun

This is pretty simple and pretty self explanatory. Note: This one looks like it was done with goddess locs so she cheated a little :-). The more hair you have, the bigger the bun. Scoop it up into a ponytail and keep rolling and wrapping in one direction until you can tuck the ends back under the bun. Use bobby pins to keep it neat if necessary.

Low Bun

Another goddess loc example, the hair is parted to one side at the front, and french rolled to the left and right, coming together at the nape of the neck, where it is elaborately rolled into a massive bun. This seems like a great look for a bride or a really special occasion.

Curly Faux-hawk

These goddess locs were braided up into two buns on top of the head, then scooped, looped and tied back into the base of the ponytails. Looks like they were pinned in place to create an elaborate faux-hawk.

Braided Bun

Neat locs are braided from all the way around the edges of the hair to the top and plaited all the way to their ends. The braids are scooped into a ponytail, and then wrapped into a huge, beautiful, simple bun.

Rolled Side Bun

The locs are braided in different sized rows from one side of the head to the other, ending in large rolled plaits. The plaits are then wrapped into an interweaved bun.
