Hungry? A new neighborhood Caribbean spot has you covered. The fresh addition to the Little Haiti, called Manjay, is located at 8300 N.E. Second Ave.

The business is owned by Christian Dominique, who was born and raised in Haiti and the menu is overseen by Bahamian chef Jouvens Jean, who has won different cooking competitions, including Food Network’s “Chef Wanted” and has written a book, according to the business’s website.

Manjay serves Caribbean-inspired salads, appetizers, sandwiches and wraps and Caribbean bowls. Order the Coco Loco Shrimp bowl with coconut curry shrimp, the Vegan Roti with mixed vegetables and curry sauce or opt to keep it light with Caribbean Conch Fritters.
